Dinner at Bulgari Hotel

3 February 2015

Thank you to Nicola Formby, Dana Hoegh and all our supporters who raised over £50,000 for Borne

On Tuesday 3 February, eighty of Borne’s friends and founding donors celebrated Professor Mark Johnson and his research to prevent preterm birth at the elegant Rivea restaurant at the Bulgari Hotel, Knightsbridge.

Catwalk beauty Erin O’Connor was joined by many Borne advocates and public figures like Christiane Amanpour, Natasha McElhone, Dominic West and Jeremy Clarkson in supporting the life-saving aims and research efforts of Borne.

Professor Mark Johnson spoke eloquently about the importance of his work and actress Ronni Ancona and Sunday Times critic AA Gill led a very funny chat about whether giving birth was more painful than a man being kicked where it really hurts.

The evening was organised by Nicola Formby and Dana Hoegh and we are very grateful for the generosity of the team at Rivea who created a delicious dinner for the occasion.

So far the night has raised over £50,000 for Borne’s vital research into preventing premature birth and its complications.
